Lawn Mowing in Salt Lake City
Recurring mowing on a schedule you can count on — weekly or every two weeks, across the Salt Lake Valley.
Mowing that just happens
The point of hiring a mowing service is that you stop thinking about it. We come on a set rotation, cut at a height that suits Utah’s summer heat, edge the hard surfaces, and clean up the clippings before we leave.
Every visit includes mowing, edging and trimming, and clipping clean-up — the whole job, not the grass only.
Weekly or every two weeks
Weekly is the right call for most Salt Lake Valley lawns through the growing season. Grass that gets cut before it outruns you stays denser, holds colour better, and takes less water.
Every two weeks costs more per visit than weekly does, because there is significantly more growth to cut and clean up each time. You choose the frequency in the quote and see the price for that choice before you commit.
Your price is based on your actual lawn
Mowing is priced by lawn size, so we measure it rather than guess. In the Instant Quote you outline your lawn on an aerial photo of your property — front, back, and side — and we calculate the square footage from the real coordinates you trace. Then you see your price.
Lawn Mowing has online pricing. Outline your lawn and you get a number on the spot, with no visit and no sales call first. Unusually large or unusual properties are priced by a person instead — we’ll tell you if yours is one of them.
The mowing height question
Cool-season grasses along the Wasatch Front do better cut high than cut short. Taller blades shade the soil, which slows evaporation and makes it harder for weeds to get established. If you have a preference for your lawn, tell us when we set up your service.
Adding treatments later
Mowing keeps a lawn tidy; fertilization is what makes it thick. Most customers who want both end up on Complete Lawn Care, which puts mowing and Fertilization & Weed Control on one schedule with one team. You can start with mowing and add treatments whenever you like.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Instant Quote work?
Enter your address, tell us what you need, and outline your lawn on the aerial map. We calculate your real lawn size from that outline and show your price right away for services with online pricing. No in-person visit needed.
How do you measure my lawn?
You outline your lawn areas on an aerial photo of your property — front, back, and side yards. We calculate the square footage from the real map coordinates you draw, so the number is based on your actual lawn, not an average.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Salt Lake City and the surrounding communities in the Salt Lake Valley, including Holladay, Millcreek, Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, Murray, Sugar House, Draper, West Jordan, and Taylorsville. Don’t see your city? Text us and we’ll check.
What if my property is unusual or hard to measure?
Outline what you can and send the request anyway, or text us instead. We look at anything out of the ordinary personally and follow up with a quote.
Do I get a price for cleanups and projects online?
No. Cleanups, overgrown yards, mulch, rock, sod, and sprinkler repair are quoted by a person. Send a few photos with your request and we’ll follow up with an estimate.
