Yard Cleanups & Projects in Salt Lake City

Overgrown yards, shrub trimming, weeding, mulch, rock, and sod. One-time work, quoted by a person.

Work like this is quoted by a person, never by a formula. Send a few photos and we’ll follow up with your estimate.

The jobs that don’t fit a schedule

Some yard work is recurring and some of it is a one-time reset. This is the reset: the rental that got away from someone, the beds that haven’t been touched in two seasons, the strip of lawn that should have been rock years ago.

What we take on

  • Overgrown yards. Getting a property back to a state where normal maintenance is possible.
  • Shrub trimming. Shaping and cutting back overgrown shrubs.
  • Weeding. Clearing beds, rock, and edges.
  • Mulch and rock. Refreshing or installing ground cover in beds.
  • Sod. New lawn where the old one is past saving.
  • Sprinkler repair. See sprinkler repair for the details.

Why there’s no instant price

Project work is never priced automatically. An overgrown yard can be two hours or two days depending on what’s under the growth, how the access is, and how much material comes out. A formula that guessed at that would be wrong often enough to be useless to both of us.

So we look first. Send a few photos with your request and a person quotes it.

How to send a good photo set

  • One wide shot of the whole area, so we can judge scale.
  • A close-up of the worst part.
  • Anything unusual — steep slope, narrow gate, retaining wall, tight access.

Three or four photos is normally plenty. You can attach them to your request or just text them to us.

After the reset

Most properties that get cleaned up are worth keeping that way. If you want it maintained afterwards, Complete Lawn Care picks up from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Instant Quote work?

Enter your address, tell us what you need, and outline your lawn on the aerial map. We calculate your real lawn size from that outline and show your price right away for services with online pricing. No in-person visit needed.

How do you measure my lawn?

You outline your lawn areas on an aerial photo of your property — front, back, and side yards. We calculate the square footage from the real map coordinates you draw, so the number is based on your actual lawn, not an average.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Salt Lake City and the surrounding communities in the Salt Lake Valley, including Holladay, Millcreek, Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, Murray, Sugar House, Draper, West Jordan, and Taylorsville. Don’t see your city? Text us and we’ll check.

What if my property is unusual or hard to measure?

Outline what you can and send the request anyway, or text us instead. We look at anything out of the ordinary personally and follow up with a quote.

Do I get a price for cleanups and projects online?

No. Cleanups, overgrown yards, mulch, rock, sod, and sprinkler repair are quoted by a person. Send a few photos with your request and we’ll follow up with an estimate.
